About Our Organization

Founded in 2021, Storeybrook Farm Sanctuary, INC is a 501c3 non-profit horse sanctuary run by and for its members. Originally formed in Waterbury Vermont, we have recently moved and expanded to a 135 acre farm in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Although we call Vermont home, we represent the rights of animals everywhere. Our team works tirelessly to save lives and promote equine welfare.

 

From famous race horses to show jumpers, any horse can end up in a kill pen. We advocate for the most vulnerable equine populations. We believe that each and every life is precious, deserving to be treated humanely with a chance to live happily and cruelty-free.
